What is included in a cleaning estimate? Only the services you agree with the customer. This is an editable starting checklist, not an industry standard or a guarantee that every home takes the same time.

In the calculator, confirm the work included in your base quote. Each checkbox covers a group of tasks; kitchen and bathroom groups require those rooms in your area plan. Changing this list updates the customer description, but does not automatically change hours or price. Review labor in step 02 and add separately priced work in step 03.

For routine upkeep

Standard

Maintenance for a reasonably maintained home: dust reachable surfaces, vacuum and mop, wipe kitchen counters and appliance exteriors, and clean bathroom fixtures. No detailed buildup removal or cabinet interiors. Standard reference: 1x.

For more detailed work

Deep

A reset beyond routine upkeep: hand-wipe accessible baseboards, doors and cabinet fronts; spend longer on bathroom edges, tile and kitchen grease. Appliance interiors remain extras. The beta starts at 1.75x Standard: an editable, unvalidated planning preset.

For an empty-home reset

Move-out

An empty-home turnover: Deep tasks plus accessible empty cabinet interiors. Confirm landlord requirements and working utilities. Oven and fridge interiors are still extras. The beta starts at 2x Standard: an editable, unvalidated planning preset, not a verified industry ratio.

PLAN TIME BEFORE PRICE

Same home. Different depth of work.

For a hypothetical 4-person-hour Standard plan, the beta presets suggest about 7 person-hours for Deep and 8 for Move-out before per-category rounding. These illustrate presets, not observed job durations. Divide by crew size for approximate time on site, assuming work can be shared evenly.

These are editable planning assumptions, not nationwide averages or guarantees. An empty, maintained property can take less time than an occupied Deep clean. Heavy buildup, pets, clutter, fixture density and the agreed scope can substantially change the work needed.

How to use the beta presets

Quotewise chooses the room-specific area allowances, 1.75x Deep and 2x Move-out presets as editorial planning assumptions. No timed job dataset validates these exact values. No verified Move-out time range has been established for this beta. They are not measured US room production averages. Inspect and adjust before quoting. Multipliers affect base work once; extras are priced separately.

Compare the starting service checklists

Base tasks are included in the base cleaning price, not free cleaning. Paid extras are optional services added to the customer quote. Standard describes the depth of cleaning, not how often you book: it can be a one-time or recurring service. Only agreed tasks in selected areas apply.

Identical descriptions share a cell across service columns. Separate cells show where the service scope or pricing differs.

Identical service descriptions share a cell across service types. In step 01, your selected spaces feed the labor preview in step 02; property condition itself does not add a surcharge. On smaller screens, choose a service below to review its tasks.

Deep includes the Standard base tasks with more detailed work where described. Move-out uses the detailed scope in an empty home, adds empty cabinet interiors and requires working water and electricity. Agree any turnover requirements in writing. Removing tasks does not automatically reduce labor hours; update your allowances before confirming the quote.

MAKE THE EXTRAS CLEAR

Inside is a different job.

Wiping the outside of a fridge is not the same as cleaning inside it. List oven, refrigerator or cabinet interiors separately when they are not already in the base service.

Enter the person-hours and direct cost for each unit. You can override the base hourly labor cost for specialist work. For recurring jobs, decide whether the extra happens only on the first visit or every visit.

One job. Counted once.

If cabinet interiors are already included, do not add them again as an extra. When you remove work from the checklist, adjust your labor hours too.

When to assess the job individually

Special contamination, post-renovation work, high-access work and heavy moving can be quoted after your own assessment. Use manual labor planning and enter the scope, access arrangements, labor and equipment or specialist costs. For Move-out without an empty home or working utilities, record how the job will be carried out before confirming. Ordinary cleaning references do not estimate these jobs for you.
