For the anonymous calculator: your draft and common cost settings are stored in this browser when storage is available. The calculator does not need your customer’s address, phone or email.
What the local draft contains
The draft can contain optional company and customer names, contact details and addresses, quote numbers, projects, sent dates and customer-facing notes and entered sales tax settings, as well as property descriptions, cleaning scope, work hours, costs, business name, private notes and your entered prices. Common base cost settings are stored separately so they can be reused. Do not put sensitive customer information into optional notes.
Seven days, on this device
Each local record expires seven days after its last actual edit. Simply opening the page does not extend it. Expired or incompatible records are discarded on the next visit; the site cannot erase a closed browser on a timer. Restoring a draft requires price confirmation again.
Use Clear local data in the calculator to clear the draft and common costs. Other open Quotewise tabs in the same browser receive a clear signal. Clearing browser data also removes the records. There is no cross-device sync or cloud recovery in this beta.
What gets copied
The preview contains customer-facing scope, final prices, derived unit prices, exclusions, optional company and recipient details, quote references, customer-facing notes, validity date and tax notice. Internal costs, profit and private notes are excluded. Copying places the text on your device clipboard; you choose where to paste and send it. Your device or messaging app may have its own clipboard or storage behavior.
Site requests and optional integrations
Loading the website sends normal requests to its hosting provider. Network information such as IP address and request metadata may be processed to deliver and protect the site. The production site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and site usage. Google may process page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, and analytics identifiers stored in cookies. Google signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag.
We do not add quote form values, customer contact details, costs or private notes to analytics events. Avoid putting personal information in page URLs. See our cookie notice and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The calculator itself performs its calculations in your browser and has no quote-upload or automatic messaging feature. This statement applies to the anonymous product pages, not future account or payment features.
Images and product status
Cleaning scene photographs are AI-generated illustrations of the intended use. The people shown are not presented as customers or endorsers. Quotewise is a beta tool; it does not verify local tax rules, market prices or your estimates of job duration.
