Browser storage used by the calculator
Quote drafts and common costs use local storage on this browser and device. They are not sent to a quote database. Each record expires seven days after its last actual edit; opening the site does not extend it. Expired records are removed on the next visit, rather than by a timer while your browser is closed.
Preferences and essential site functions
The site can remember language preferences. Your calculator view choice uses session storage in the current tab. These preferences are separate from quote drafts and may remain until you clear browser site data. Essential hosting or security functions may also use cookies. The anonymous calculator does not require an account or payment details.
Analytics and other integrations
The production site uses Google Analytics 4 for page visits and site usage. It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag. We do not add calculator inputs or customer details to analytics events. Browser privacy settings or tracking blockers may prevent analytics from loading.
How to clear your data
Use Clear local data in the calculator to clear the quote draft, common costs and current form, with a signal to other open tabs. To clear theme, language or other site preferences as well, use your browser’s site-data controls. Blocking storage leaves calculation and exports available but prevents draft recovery.
Clear local data in the calculator does not remove analytics cookies. Use your browser’s site-data controls to remove them. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
